Creative, personalized, fine art photographs are an investment you make in the memory of your wedding.
At Kristin Griffin Photography, we believe that couples should pick a photographer who appreciates their vision and can authentically document the cherished moments of their wedding day.
Kristin Griffin has been a professional photographer since 2004. After early experiences in a black and white darkroom sparked her passion for photography, she attended the University of Notre Dame for a BFA degree in photography and Rochester Institute of Technology for a MFA degree in imaging arts.
This training, along with the practical experience of photographing hundreds of weddings, has given her the skills to successfully capture creative images in a variety of lighting situations, weather conditions, seasons and venues.

Frequently Asked Questions
As soon as possible. Weekends tend to book up quickly, especially during peak wedding season (May-October).
Yes, of course. We can work out a payment schedule. All we ask is that you pay 50% prior to the wedding to lock in your date, and have the remaining amount to us when you receive your images.
YES! Kristin Griffin has been capturing weddings since 2004, and we carry professional liability insurance naming your venue as an additional insured, JUST in case. We’ve documented hundreds of weddings: some in blizzards, hurricanes and while following COVID-safety protocols. We are prepared and carry redundant, professional-grade backup equipment at all times. We are also FAA Part 107 drone licensed, so we can offer drone footage in your video packages.
We absolutely love to travel and have shot destination weddings all over the world. Kristin was a destination bride herself, and she’s lived abroad. We have a separate contract for destination weddings, which details accommodations and travel expenditures.
You will always receive your retouched photographs and video within eight weeks, but usually much earlier. It depends on our current volume/time of year, and we will give you a better estimate when we meet.
Our modern albums are absolutely breathtaking and yes, we design them in-house. We work with you to include the photographs or video you love best to ensure you adore your album from cover to cover.
No. You have a gallery of hand-edited photos fixed to perfection. Every photo has been carefully retouched.
We set up 2-4 video cameras around the ceremony space to capture the action from numerous angles. Footage is edited together to create a seamless film that transitions from one viewpoint to the next.
Yes. We will often put a small wireless microphone on the officiant and/or one of the wedding couple-to-be in order to get excellent sound quality. This allows us to produce a film where you can hear the vows, readings and even whispered exclamations when you see each other for the first time. But don’t worry – the sound isn’t “live” until the ceremony starts, and it’s only directed into the camera itself – no amplified sound.
Yes – let’s talk about your music tastes ahead of the wedding to pick background songs you will love.
Not all weddings are the same – we get it! For that reason, we can provide a customized package to suit your needs. Don’t see something you want included? Just ask and we’ll to send you a quote.
